does APPLE sell the damaged / test MBP thru Amazon?
BUYERS BE WARNED! I bought this supposedly new MBP from Amazon “sold by Amazon” it arrived on June 28th.. Immediately I was suspicious of the feel of the trackpad and the way the keys clicked. (had purchased MBP via Amazon before w/ no problem) I gave it a chance and did some more research but shortly after transferring my data from a 250G SSD to this 1TB the colorball kept coming on and freezing up and on and on. I called Amazon on day 23 to talk about the issues they suggested I call APPLE, in the interim with everything else I continued to troubleshoot more concerned that a number of my documents got poofed in the process. well on day 30+2 Apple told me as a new system this one is problematic. I should connect with Amazon for a replacement. WELL. Amazon would not replace it. My option per Amazon was to refund; meaning I send it back and wait for the refund or purchased a new one pending the refund. I bought one again, As of this writing, I am trying to erase all my information from this messed up MBP to the no longer charging old MBP. I dont know what will happen the new one is 3 days out. I hope they do not recycle this one for other buyers

Not what I expected for the money!
It’s not near as fast as I thought it should be! Especially for the money I spent.For some reason as well, I won’t connect to my internet or my hotspot on my Apple phone. Going to take it to Apple and see what they say. If I’m totally pleased with what they tell me, it’s going back.

The service from this seller on Amazon was good and and the delivery was right on time.The new Apple products with the Apple made chips are impressive in their performance and frugal use of electricity. They also support their products with regular software updates longer than most other manufacturers.Because of this, Apple products have a fantastic battery life. This thing is insane.
I upgraded from the $3,499 i9 Intel MacBook Pro from 2019, and this laptop seriously blows that away. The keyboard is amazing and so much better, the screen is amazing, I love the refresh rate, the responsiveness of jumping between pages and apps is so ridiculously fast, the trackpad and speakers are still just amazing, and the battery life on this is mind-blowing.Seriously, 10/10, absolutely recommend this to anyone, this thing is insane. I put it in my backpack for 9 days, and 9 days later it was still at 54%, even though it was powered on the entire time. I literally got a FaceTime call on my iPhone and my MacBook rang in my backpack at the same time on day 9.Get this MacBook if you need power and battery life, nothing will beat this.

Best laptop I have ever owned
Came from a 2012 MacBook Pro 15 retina that I used daily for 11 years. Only retiring it in 2023! This is the first machine worthy of finally replacing my trusty 2012. The build quality, speed, battery life, screen quality, speaker quality. Everything is top-notch and completely worth the price. If I get another 11 years out of this machine like my last MacBook Pro, I will be thrilled.

Best laptop Apple has ever produced
I recently replaced my 2018 Macbook Pro with this one and it’s the best laptop Apple has ever produced. The keyboard is infinitely better and the battery life is as good as it gets (think all day and into the night with full brightness turned up). It doesn’t heat up and get loud when pushed to its limits like my last one did. I run Windows on it simultaneously using Parallels and it doesn’t affect the speed at all. The screen is beautiful and the sound is great as well.I also love that they brought back all the ports (especially the HDMI port). I got tired of carrying dongles around. Overall, a huge improvement over my 2018 model and I feel confident it will last me for the next 5 years or so!

MacBook
It was a real learning curve switching platforms but once learned it is an impressive device. It’s very fast and much mor stable than the platform I used previously. I really like the sound and display. On many Websites that require use names and passwords all I have to do is touch the touch-ID button and it fills in the user name and password for me. If I create a new account it gives me the option to save it in the iCloud Keychain.

What an amazing MacBook
It is on the heavy side but the screen and battery life are absolutely amazing. This is honestly the best laptop I have ever purchased. Most of the time I need to type in Spanish so I use the “United States International” keyboard. I am so happy. 100% recommended.Español: es pesada pero la pantalla y la duración de la batería son absolutamente increíbles. Esta es honestamente la mejor laptop que alguna vez haya comprado. Equipo en excelente condición, estética – software – hardware / teclado, me recuerda a esos macbook pro 16″ de 2005 – 2008 – 2012.Volví a sentir una maquina robusta en términos de hardware, a nivel de software funciona muy bien.Como opinión muy personal; la última maquina “robusta” Software – hardware que tuve es un macbook pro 2012 (aun lo tengo y funciona, ya por las nuevas exigencias de software está relegado al recuerdo) otras maquinas en medio del camino hasta esta, las “retina-touchbar” .. siempre las sentí muy “delicadas” .. a nivel de respuesta software vs hardware ..bajaba mucho el rendimiento, por temperatura + de 1 pantalla extendida y el rendimiento si no tenia buena ventilación, se iba al “piso” ..Este M2, lo estoy usando con 2 pantallas externas promedio-permanente .. y aun con softwar” como ADOBE – After – Blender – Resolume .. va muy muy bien!Un gran y significativo cambio respecto de los “touch-bar”.Enjoy!!

Words can’t begin to describe how large the 16 inch is. It’s stunning.Upgrading from a 2019 MacBook Pro Intel chip, these thing puts all older MacBooks with Intel silicon to shame.Why did apple ever use Intel anyway?It’s pricey, but it’s worth it.

Great as usual
My old PowerBook Pro died after 7 years and it was time to upgrade. This model came as expected. After the initial hours of setup, it could not be any better. It’s fast, cool-looking but I miss the control bar they did not include in these latter models. A Mac is a Mac and a loyal user since 1987 could not be happier to try this new processor.

Amazing battery life for Work and School.
The battery life on this is flat out amazing. If you need a laptop that will last multiple days with moderate use, before a charge this is it. I can take it to work and school, with no worries that it will die out on me. The processor is very fast and works great for Art. It even does surprisingly well at some GPU intensive things like Stable Diffusion AI Art.

The best laptop I have ever bought
It is an incredible achievement. It blows all the Windows laptops out of the water. The audio is great, the screen is great, the battery is amazing. It is not particularly light and being unupgreadable is kind of a kick in the groin. Other than that it is an excellent machine. Would hope that at least the RAM would not be soldered in. Alas, it even holds some value, not like a Windows machine. The M series processor is such a gamechanger.

Awesome. Been a user of windows 1.03 and newer, always wondered what Mac was like and I must say crossing over to Mac (with the help of having iPhones) was an easy transition. The MacBook Pro has plenty power (up and running within 20 seconds), having multiple apps (office 365), Adobe, etc not an issue. 👍🏻

Love the computer, HATE ventura
When I first powered on the laptop, I believe Monterey was the O/S then it prompted me to upgrade to Ventura. That was my biggest mistake ever. Apple wants everyone to own iPads or iPhones instead of a real computer. If you make the mistake of upgrading, get ready for virtually no printer drivers, an awful system preferences (research reviews online) – for example there’s NO way to disable having the laptop sleep when the cover is shut. A command line workaround via the terminal app. That’s just crazy. Apple was always known for simple user interface and reliability of simply “working”. I got around the print driver stupidity by using a wrapper around the printer driver installer, called Pacifist.Great laptop, but disgusting O/S. If I had left Monterey on it, I’d give it 5 stars.Update: I almost lost my new job over the fact that Ventura turns off notifications for needed things like meetings, chats and emails. Daily if I forgot to manually disable Apple’s focus settings, I won’t get notifications. I spoke to Apple support and they were seemingly impolite and short with me because I had expressed my dislike in their OS. Turns out that this laptop according to Apple, “cannot” run on any older version OS. I just missed my return window through Amazon. Now I’m stuck with an expensive computer with an Apple tablet OS. Not happy with my purchase. I’m totally done buying “any” apple product ever again.

It was heavier but more solid than i was expecting, its not flimsy at all and seems really quality which i was happy about given the price. Best Mac I’ve Ever Had
These Apple Silicon chips are all they’re hyped up to be. This thing flies. If you haven’t tried the new M1/2 Macs you’re in for a treat. The display is amazing and the sound is Atmos built in… it’s really phenomenal. Just be sure to get at least the 1TB storage option, as the 512 base model has SSD speeds HALF of the 1TB+ models. 16GB RAM is actually fine so far using Resolve, Adobe, Chrome… all at once. If you don’t need the HDMI 2.1 or other tiny upgrades, you may be better off getting M1 and saving money, as everything else is close.

I use this for music production and then the regulars of work: email, vista create, website design etc.I have my guitar, mic, audio interface plugged in and the audio software running. This runs so smoothly. The storage is so useful. I don’t regret this purchase at all despite the price tag. It’s a beast.
